FAQ's

Do I need a permit for a garage or carport?
Yes. Any detached garage or carport over 161.5 sq. ft. (15 m²) requires a permit in Ontario.

Can I build my garage on a slab?
Typically yes unless it is over 592 sq.ft. (55 m² ). If it is over an engineered slab or frost footing is required.

Can you design garages with lofts or workshops?
Yes — we prepare drawings for single-storey, lofted, or workshop-integrated garages.

What if my garage already exists without a permit?
We can provide as-built drawings for retroactive permit applications.
